Aleksei Figura vs Ioakim Taran

Boxing Daily Report from the Mensah Promotions promoted show at Donetsk Panko, Donetsk,  taking place on 15/01/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ukraine Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Aleksei Figura (14(5) - 0) who hails from Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine and Ioakim Taran(13 - 10 - 2) from Donetsk, Ukraine.  Both Figura and Taran weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Taras Danyluk, and the three ringside judges are Vasyl Witko, Taras Bayuk and Avel Bahan.  

Round 1: 

Figura advances into close range and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Figura holds on to his opponent.  Figura is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Figura closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Figura has taken some damage there.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.

Figura senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Taran and just needs the right shot.  Figura is on target with a spiteful left uppercut.  TARAN IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  THE COUNT REACHES 10, BUT TARAN IS UNABLE TO GET UP!  The winner by KO is Figura!
