Rudi Laas vs Dierck Birkner

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at O2 World, Berlin,  taking place on 17/01/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Germany Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sport Deutschland, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rudi Laas (30(22) - 4(3) - 1) who hails from Chemnitz, Germany and Dierck Birkner(13(3) - 2(2)) from Mannheim, Germany.  Laas weighed in at 168 pounds, while Birkner weighed in at 167 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lothar Jex, and the three ringside judges are Einhard Stueve, Bannruod Sann and Arvin Kallies.  

Round 1:
