Zuffur Saber vs Greg Kimanthi

Boxing Daily Report from the Ndovi Promotions promoted show at Nairobi Ali, Nairobi,  taking place on 16/01/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Zuffur Saber (30 - 10(6)) who hails from Athi River, Kenya and Greg Kimanthi(9 - 3 - 2) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Saber and Kimanthi weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kashif Haque, and the three ringside judges are Lee Rebelo, Billy Tumbo and Lisimba Kimeli.  

Round 1: 

Saber manouvers Kimanthi into the corner.  Saber drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Saber finds the target with a jab.  
Saber drives a right hook into Kimanthi's body.  
Saber sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Kimanthi throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Saber is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Saber sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Kimanthi attempts to land a left hook, but Saber blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Saber pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Saber steps inside.  Saber pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a right hook into Kimanthi's ribs.  
Saber feints a left, and then drives a stinging jab into his opponents face.  
Kimanthi closes the distance and throws a right hook, but Saber clinches his opponent.  Saber pushes his forearm into Kimanthi's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Saber is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a jab.

Kimanthi lands a cross.  
Saber steps inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Kimanthi is not fighting as well as he'd like.   He swings an uppercut into his opponents groin! The ref tells Kimanthi to keep his punches above the belt.  He gives Saber time to recover.

You can sense the frustration from Kimanthi now.   He steps in close and swings a low uppercut into Saber's groin!  The ref doesnt appear to have noticed the foul and signals for the action to continue.
