Santiago Escandon vs Vicente Amo

Boxing Daily Report from the South American Boxing Federation promoted show at San Rafael Villalta, San Rafael,  taking place on 18/01/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Argentina-Mendoza Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Escandon (19 - 10(2) - 3) who hails from Mendoza, Argentina and Vicente Amo(3 - 16(2) - 2) from Mendoza, Argentina.  Escandon weighed in at 147 pounds and 12 ounces, while Amo weighed in at 147 pounds.    As Escandon came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Leon, and the three ringside judges are Eloy Monreal, Onofre Ciervo and Jeraldo Games.
