Carlos Tamez vs Juan Victorino

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Argentina-Salta promoted show at Sagaz Benavides Gym, Salta,  taking place on 17/01/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Argentina-Salta Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Tamez (7 - 9) who hails from Salta, Argentina and Juan Victorino(5 - 5 - 3) from Salta, Argentina.  Both Tamez and Victorino weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Olguin, and the three ringside judges are Manuel Bejar, Enzo Mancilla and Sierra Gago.  

Round 1: 

Victorino throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Tamez throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Victorino to the neutral corner.  He tells Tamez he will lose a point if he continues to foul.
