Rocco Candreva vs Rico Ferraro

Boxing Daily Report from the Fovea Imperat promoted show at Mauro Moffa Gym, Bari,  taking place on 26/01/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Apulia Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rocco Candreva (15 - 16 - 3) who hails from Bari, Italy and Rico Ferraro(8 - 24 - 7) from Bari, Italy.  Both Candreva and Ferraro weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Enzo Zappia, and the three ringside judges are Mauro Conte, Gianluca Menia and Gianluca Menia.  

Round 1: 

Candreva closes the distance and lands a left hook.  
Ferraro switches the action to the outside.  Candreva connects with a cross.  
Ferraro lands a cross to Candreva's body.  
Candreva gets on the inside.  Ferraro pivots to the left of his opponent.  Ferraro throws a left hook, but Candreva ties up his opponent.  Candreva uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Ferraro behind the head. The referee warns Candreva and breaks the clinch.  
Ferraro feints a jab, fooling Candreva into launching a cross counter.  Ferraro springs the trap, countering with  a left uppercut.

Ferraro tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand left.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Candreva's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Ferraro's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.

Candreva goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Ferraro time to recover.
