Connor Gillies vs Denis Montand

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Olympic Stadium, Montreal,  taking place on 28/02/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Canada Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Connor Gillies (23(14) - 2 - 1) who hails from London, Canada and Denis Montand(21(11) - 1(1)) from Halifax, Canada.  Gillies weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces, while Montand weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Gerard Segalen, and the three ringside judges are Brendan Aitken, Briant Sarraute and Tujan Racine.
