Juan Varona vs Angel Avendano

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Davao del Sur promoted show at Davao City Nacapuy, Davao City,  taking place on 02/02/2037:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Philippines-Davao del Sur Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IBC, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Varona (17 - 13(1) - 1) who hails from Davao City, Philippines and Angel Avendano(23(7) - 5(3) - 1) from Davao City, Philippines.  Both Varona and Avendano weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Quin Agbisit, and the three ringside judges are Seth Tacdol, Elias Rabanal and Ben Dulay.  

Round 1: 

Avendano is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left hook.
