Stephen McClay vs Kian Schessler

Boxing Daily Report from the Ant promoted show at Rico Gym, Cleveland,  taking place on 05/02/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Great Lakes Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Stephen McClay (17(4) - 1) who hails from Green Bay, USA and Kian Schessler(11 - 18 - 1) from Columbus, USA.  Both McClay and Schessler weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kenzie Schatte, and the three ringside judges are James Marean, Dom Forbush and Daniel Bigner.  

Round 1: 

McClay lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
McClay lands a cross.  
McClay gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to McClay.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
