Gus Loar vs Dan Duff

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Xfinity Theater, Hartford,  taking place on 31/01/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Gus Loar (0 - 0) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Dan Duff(0 - 0) from Boston, USA.  Both Loar and Duff weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Hilton, and the three ringside judges are Inigo Kelton, Davie Fitzroy and James Waterston.  

Round 1: 

Loar closes the distance and digs in a right hook to Duff's body.  
Loar manages to force Duff into the corner.  Loar lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.

Loar lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Loar ties up his opponent.  Duff leans on his opponent using all his weight. Loar pushes his forearm into Duff's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Loar about fouling.

Duff throws a left uppercut, but Loar holds on to his opponent.  Duff throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Loar lands a left uppercut followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Loar is looking to close the distance and digs in a stinging left uppercut to Duff's ribs.  
Loar lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Duff sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a right uppercut to Loar's body.

Loar digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Duff advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a forceful left hook to his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE DUFF WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Duff quickly recovers.

Loar slams a nasty left hook into Duff's ribs.  DUFF WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Loar knows Duff is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Loar lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body, AND DUFF IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 8.  Duff now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
