Charles Creer vs Floyd Ponton

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Arkansas promoted show at Mark Cook Gym, Fayetteville,  taking place on 06/02/2037:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Arkansas Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Charles Creer (16 - 9(1) - 4) who hails from Little Rock, USA and Floyd Ponton(19(3) - 7(2)) from Little Rock, USA.  Creer weighed in at 140 pounds, while Ponton weighed in at 139 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is John Saucer, and the three ringside judges are Aaron Myricks, Paul Lightbody and Ian Suit.  

Round 1: 

Ponton steps inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Ponton pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.
