Charles Irungu vs Nuru Verjee

Boxing Daily Report from the Konga Promotions promoted show at Nairobi Kebenei, Nairobi,  taking place on 11/02/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Charles Irungu (26(2) - 14(5) - 2) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Nuru Verjee(22 - 17(1) - 1) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Irungu and Verjee weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Elliot Lumumba, and the three ringside judges are Lee Rebelo, Shaun Arusei and Sam Waiyaki.
