Ramirez Merlin vs Gig Lino

Boxing Daily Report from the AI El Salvador-San Salvador promoted show at San Salvador Garcia, San Salvador,  taking place on 12/02/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the El Salvador-San Salvador Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ramirez Merlin (18(10) - 11(2)) who hails from Apopa, El Salvador and Gig Lino(2 - 6(2) - 2) from Soyapango, El Salvador.  Both Merlin and Lino weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Marco Morino, and the three ringside judges are Agapetus Garces, Salvador Sanchez and Jerrold Lorenzana.  

Round 1: 

Merlin steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Merlin lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Lino could be stopped here, if Merlin can find the right shot!  Merlin lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, DROPPING LINO TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Lino has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Merlin lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Merlin lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Merlin holds on to his opponent.  Lino is using his forearm in the clinch. Merlin digs in a solid left hook to Lino's liver.  
Merlin lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Lino almost instantly recovers. 
Merlin hits home with a cross.  
Merlin is looking to close the distance.  Lino pivots to the right of his opponent.  Merlin drives a left hook into Lino's liver.  
Merlin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits the target with a solid jab.  
Merlin lands a right uppercut.  
Merlin drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Merlin digs in a weighty left hook to Lino's body.  LINO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.

Lino tries to keep the action at long range.  Merlin hits home with a cross.  
Merlin gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Merlin holds on to his opponent.  Merlin leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Merlin is on target with a cross.  Lino now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Merlin gets on the inside.  Lino pivots to the right of his opponent.  Merlin is on target with a stinging right hook to Lino's ribcage.

Merlin stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Merlin lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND DOWN GOES LINO!  He is back up on his feet at 6.
