Emre Gunver vs Suleiman Ozkok

Boxing Daily Report from the Tsunami Promotions promoted show at Istanbul Polatkan, Istanbul,  taking place on 13/02/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NTV Spor, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Emre Gunver (23 - 9 - 5) who hails from Istanbul, Turkey and Suleiman Ozkok(14(11) - 3 - 1) from Adana, Turkey.  Gunver weighed in at 129 pounds and 11 ounces, while Ozkok weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Baris Kahveci, and the three ringside judges are Arslan Vural, Onur Akyuz and Gulbahar Ozmen.  

Round 1: 

Ozkok is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Ozkok connects with a sharp left uppercut.  
Gunver attempts to land an overhand right, but Ozkok blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Ozkok closes the distance and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Ozkok forces Gunver to back into a corner.  Ozkok lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Ozkok lands a right hook.  Ozkok holds on to his opponent.  Ozkok pushes his forearm into Gunver's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ozkok hits home with a left hook.  
Ozkok cuts off the ring, trapping Gunver in the corner.  Ozkok lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Ozkok sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Gunver throws a right hook, but Ozkok clinches his opponent.  Ozkok pushes his forearm into Gunver's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ozkok throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Ozkok ties up his opponent.  Gunver leans on his opponent using all his weight. Ozkok is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ozkok lands a sharp left hook.  
Gunver is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a cross.  Gunver tries to land a jab, but Ozkok slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Ozkok advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ozkok hits home with a stinging right uppercut.  Ozkok clinches his opponent.  Ozkok uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Gunver behind the head. Ozkok is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Gunver throws a right hook, but Ozkok holds on to his opponent.  Ozkok leans on his opponent using all his weight. Gunver is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Gunver pivots to the side of his opponent.  Gunver tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Gunver's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Gunver's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Ozkok manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Ozkok connects with a right uppercut.  Ozkok clinches his opponent.  Ozkok hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Gunver is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ozkok sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a sharp right hook to Gunver's body.  
Ozkok advances into close range and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Ozkok steps inside and digs in a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ozkok sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a SAVAGE right hook.  GUNVER HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Gunver's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

Gunver is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Gunver steps inside.  Ozkok lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Ozkok ties up his opponent.  Ozkok leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ozkok switches the action to the outside.  Ozkok senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Ozkok lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND GUNVER IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 9.  Gunver now seems to have his senses back.  
Gunver closes the distance.  Ozkok drives a solid left hook into Gunver's body.  
Ozkok lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Ozkok digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ozkok walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Ozkok pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ozkok is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Ozkok gets on the inside.  Ozkok hits home with a left hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gunver dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Gunver is looking to keep his distance and hits home with an overhand right.  
Ozkok closes the distance and digs in a firm left hook to Gunver's body.

Ozkok lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Ozkok holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Ozkok pushes his forearm into Gunver's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ozkok lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Gunver throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Ozkok lands with a ramrod jab.  
Ozkok advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS GUNVER TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Ozkok!
