Zain Mekhloufi vs Zafa Tawil

Boxing Daily Report from the Garabetian Promotions promoted show at Algiers Taha, Algiers,  taking place on 14/02/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Algeria-Alger Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Zain Mekhloufi (21 - 6(2) - 2) who hails from Algiers, Algeria and Zafa Tawil(10 - 6 - 6) from Algiers, Algeria.  Both Mekhloufi and Tawil weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ibrahim Belgherbi, and the three ringside judges are Haaris Sendid, Khalid Yachir and Ahmed Khenniche.  

Round 1: 

Tawil closes the distance.  Mekhloufi connects with a left uppercut.  
Mekhloufi tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a hard jab.
