Angel Badia vs Vicente Miers

Boxing Daily Report from the Darbenyan Promotions promoted show at Zelipe Puebla Gym, Chipancingo,  taking place on 15/02/2037:

Clearly Darbenyan Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Guerrero Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Angel Badia (5 - 28) who hails from Chipancingo, Mexico and Vicente Miers(24(5) - 11 - 2) from Acapulco, Mexico.  Both Badia and Miers weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xeres Hermosillo, and the three ringside judges are Cortez Armijo, Joaquin Gracia and Joaquin Gracia.  

Round 1: 

Miers feints a left hook, but Badia ignores the feint and responds with a right uppercut.  
Miers advances into close range.  Miers wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Badia dabs at his face checking for damage.
