Malcolm Baines vs Martyn McCourt

Boxing Daily Report from the Terry Promotions promoted show at Swansea Mohan, Swansea,  taking place on 17/02/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the British-Wales Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Malcolm Baines (7 - 3 - 4) who hails from Cardiff, UK and Martyn McCourt(22(5) - 2(2)) from Swansea, UK.  Both Baines and McCourt weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Griffith Batton, and the three ringside judges are Yasin Ozer, Inigo Rury and Mark Querry.  

Round 1: 

McCourt closes the distance.  McCourt steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Baines steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  Baines connects with a right uppercut.  McCourt clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, McCourt pushes his forearm into Baines's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
