Paul Couch vs Gareth Rodin

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at ECCO Arena, Middlesbrough,  taking place on 16/04/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Couch (18(4) - 4(1)) who hails from Doncaster, UK and Gareth Rodin(15 - 6(1)) from Schaerbeek, Belgium.  Both Couch and Rodin weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Timothy Yates, and the three ringside judges are Anton Kirk, Felix Markey and Malcolm McCartney.  

Round 1: 

Couch closes the distance and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  Couch clinches his opponent.  Couch is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Couch about fouling.  
Couch steps inside.  Rodin throws a left hook, but Couch ties up his opponent.  Couch is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Couch pushes his forearm into Rodin's face.  The referee warns Couch and breaks the clinch.  
Couch advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Couch advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Couch clinches his opponent.  Couch is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Couch lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Couch is looking to close the distance.  Couch digs in a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Couch dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Couch advances into close range and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Rodin switches the action to the outside and tries to land a jab, but Couch sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut.

Couch gets on the inside and digs in a stinging right hook to Rodin's ribcage.  Couch attempts to land a right uppercut, but Rodin parries the shot and counters with a left hook.

Couch gets on the inside.  Rodin drives a right hook into Couch's ribcage.  
Couch tries to land an overhand right, but Rodin slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Couch steps inside and walks Rodin into the red corner.  Couch lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Rodin throws a right uppercut, but Couch holds on to his opponent.  Couch leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Couch lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Couch lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Couch gets on the inside and lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS RODIN!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Couch ties up his opponent.
