Reinald Douillet vs Phil Mullane

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Docklands Stadium, Melbourne,  taking place on 28/02/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Seven, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Reinald Douillet (0 - 0) who hails from Carrefour, Haiti and Phil Mullane(0 - 3(1) - 1) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Douillet and Mullane weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leeroy Nicolaides, and the three ringside judges are Ricky Barfoot, Aaron Hadjinyan and Aaron Yale.  

Round 1:

Douillet lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Douillet lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Douillet closes the distance and drives a solid right hook into Mullane's body.  
Mullane stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Douillet lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Douillet is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Douillet tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Mullane pivots to the left of his opponent.  Douillet is on target with a right hook.  Douillet holds on to his opponent.  Douillet leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Douillet hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch.

Mullane quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Douillet lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Douillet is on target with a left hook.  
Douillet advances into close range.  Mullane sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Douillet is on target with a right hook to Mullane's ribcage.  
Douillet steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Douillet drives a firm right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Douillet digs in a left hook to Mullane's ribs.  Douillet holds on to his opponent.  Mullane is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Douillet pushes his forearm into Mullane's face.  The referee warns Douillet and breaks the clinch.  
Mullane throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Douillet advances into close range and connects with a left hook.

Mullane sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Douillet crashes a spiteful left hook to his opponents body.  MULLANE IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Douillet lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Douillet lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mullane throws a right hook, but Douillet ties up his opponent.  Douillet tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Mullane behind the head. 
Douillet is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Douillet holds on to his opponent.  Douillet is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Douillet uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Mullane behind the head.

Douillet steps inside.  Mullane sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Douillet tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Douillet lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Douillet gets on the inside and is on target with a stinging left hook to Mullane's body.  
Douillet lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Mullane tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Mullane lands a firm cross.  
Douillet gets on the inside.  Mullane pivots to the left of his opponent.  Douillet digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Douillet gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Douillet lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Douillet slams a spiteful right hook into Mullane's ribcage.  IT LOOKS LIKE MULLANE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Douillet is looking to force the stoppage!  Douillet lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a cross to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body, AND DROPS MULLANE!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  It looks like Mullane has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
