Hajime Kawahara vs Fumio Shimoda

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hokkaido promoted show at Sapporo Imada, Sapporo,  taking place on 23/02/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hokkaido Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hajime Kawahara (16 - 20 - 5) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Fumio Shimoda(14 - 3(1) - 1) from Sapporo, Japan.  Kawahara weighed in at 168 pounds, while Shimoda weighed in at 167 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kyo Kawabata, and the three ringside judges are Ryuu Ogawa, Nori Itoh and Yoshi Ige.
