Santiago Gomez vs Rafael Palos

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Pichincha promoted show at Quito Cerezo, Quito,  taking place on 24/02/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ecuador-Pichincha Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Gomez (6 - 11(2) - 3) who hails from Quito, Ecuador and Rafael Palos(11 - 2(1)) from Quito, Ecuador.  Both Gomez and Palos weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jose Lama, and the three ringside judges are Ora Urrea, Ovidio Vallez and Joaquin Santillanes.
