Loredo Barbas vs Vicente Canino

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Coahuila promoted show at Juan Morgado Gym, Saltillo,  taking place on 26/02/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Coahuila Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Loredo Barbas (11 - 18 - 8) who hails from Saltillo, Mexico and Vicente Canino(6 - 1) from Torreon, Mexico.  Barbas weighed in at 200 pounds And 9 ounces, while Canino weighed in at 200 pounds.    As Barbas came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Dimos Lona, and the three ringside judges are Montel Cassillas, Rio Milan and Selestino Briones.  

Round 1: 

Canino lands a left hook.  
Canino pivots to the left of his opponent.  Canino throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Canino steps away from his opponent.  Canino lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Barbas throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Canino to the neutral corner.  He threatens Barbas with a point deduction if he keeps fouling.
