Fanuco Calix vs Reyes Almada

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Auditório Celso Furtado, Sao Paulo,  taking place on 21/03/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Fanuco Calix (10(7) - 0) who hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Reyes Almada(25 - 15(2) - 5) from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  Calix weighed in at 243 pounds and 10 ounces, while Almada weighed in at 249 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Beltran Viana, and the three ringside judges are Vidal Moreno, Macario Nuno and Marjun Mendosa.  

Round 1: 

Calix closes the distance.  Calix sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Almada throws a right hook, but Calix ties up his opponent.  Calix leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Almada gets on the inside.  Calix drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Calix lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Calix whips in a nasty left uppercut to his opponents liver.  IT LOOKS LIKE ALMADA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Calix lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  Almada now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Calix lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Calix cuts off the ring, trapping Almada in the blue corner.  Almada is on target with a cross.  
Almada steps inside.  Almada wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Calix dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Calix steps inside and lands a sharp right uppercut.

Calix pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Calix has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.

Calix closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, KNOCKING ALMADA DOWN!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Calix!
