David Rabb vs John Howells

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkansah Promotions promoted show at Davie Nish Gym, Kansas City,  taking place on 06/03/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Missouri Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Rabb (3 - 2) who hails from Independence, USA and John Howells(11(5) - 2(1) - 2) from Kansas City, USA.  Both Rabb and Howells weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gethin Rodgers, and the three ringside judges are Callum Johansen, Lucas Geddie and William Harkins.  

Round 1: 

Howells gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Rabb tries to step out of his opponents range.  Howells lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Howells walks Rabb into the corner.  Howells lands a right hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  Howells holds on to his opponent.  Howells is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Howells and breaks the clinch.  
Rabb tries to step out of his opponents range and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Howells closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Howells walks Rabb down, trapping him on the ropes.  Howells is on target with a left uppercut to Rabb's body.  
Howells lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  Howells clinches his opponent.  Howells leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Howells's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Howells steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Howells digs in a stinging right hook to Rabb's body.  
Howells lands a right uppercut followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Howells closes the distance and is on target with a right hook to Rabb's ribcage.  
Howells lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Howells advances into close range and walks his opponent into the corner.  Howells lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Howells drives a right hook into Rabb's ribs.  
Rabb pivots to the left of his opponent.  Rabb throws a left hook, but Howells clinches his opponent.  Howells hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Howells pushes his forearm into Rabb's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Howells lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Howells lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Howells lands two left uppercut's to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Howells ties up his opponent.  Howells throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Rabb's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Rabb's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Howells cuts off the ring, trapping Rabb on the ropes.  Howells lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Rabb steps away from his opponent.  Howells lands a spiteful jab.  
Howells lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Howells connects with a left hook.  
Howells forces Rabb to back into a corner.  Howells lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.

Howells advances into close range.  Rabb throws a left hook, but Howells clinches his opponent.  Howells is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Howells closes the distance.  Howells pivots to the right of his opponent.  Howells throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Howells ties up his opponent.  Howells leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Howells lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Howells lands a left hook.  
Howells lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Rabb switches the action to the outside.  Howells hits home with a cross.  
Howells is looking to close the distance.  Rabb pivots to the side of his opponent.  Rabb throws a left hook, but Howells holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Rabb's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Rabb's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Howells quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.
