David Horsburgh vs Mel Porter

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkansah Promotions promoted show at Davie Nish Gym, Kansas City,  taking place on 06/03/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Missouri Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Horsburgh (6 - 15(1) - 3) who hails from St. Louis, USA and Mel Porter(10 - 12 - 2) from Kansas City, USA.  Horsburgh weighed in at 147 pounds, while Porter weighed in at 146 pounds And 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lucas Geddie, and the three ringside judges are Callum Johansen, Gethin Rodgers and William Harkins.  

Round 1: 

Porter throws a left hook, but Horsburgh ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Horsburgh's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Horsburgh sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Porter throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.
