Merrill Olin vs Algernon Maupassant

Boxing Daily Report from the GBWH Promotions promoted show at Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy, Paris,  taking place on 18/04/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the France Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Canal + Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Marvellous Merrill Olin (54(40) - 15(15)) who hails from Saint-Denis, France and Algernon Maupassant(15(4) - 5(2)) from Paris, France.  Both Olin and Maupassant weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Satch Machin, and the three ringside judges are Flannery Piaget, Villiers Allie and Villiers Ouimet.  

Round 1: 

Olin sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a firm overhand left.

Maupassant throws a left hook, but Olin ties up his opponent.  Olin leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Maupassant pushes his forearm into Olin's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
