Cris Sarangaya vs Luis Laconsay

Boxing Daily Report from the Molekane Promotions promoted show at Antipolo Poblete, Antipolo,  taking place on 15/03/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cris Sarangaya (20(18) - 0) who hails from General Santos, Philippines and Luis Laconsay(1 - 3) from Quezon City, Philippines.  Sarangaya weighed in at 118 pounds, while Laconsay weighed in at 117 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Nemesio Banaticla, and the three ringside judges are Rodrigo Morin, Alejandro Zevallos and Nemesio Banaticla.  

Round 1: 

Sarangaya advances into close range and digs in a right hook to Laconsay's ribs.  Sarangaya holds on to his opponent.  Sarangaya is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Sarangaya and breaks the clinch.  
Sarangaya lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Sarangaya is on target with a hard jab.

Sarangaya lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Laconsay quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Sarangaya is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.

Laconsay pivots to the side of his opponent.  Sarangaya tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Sarangaya is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Sarangaya lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS LACONSAY SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  It looks like Laconsay has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
