Alejandro Mejias vs Carlos Constante

Boxing Daily Report from the International Association of Boxing promoted show at San Miguel de Tucuma Castellon, San Miguel de Tucuman,  taking place on 18/03/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Argentina-Santa Fe Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alejandro Mejias (21 - 7 - 1) who hails from Rosario, Argentina and Carlos Constante(6 - 4 - 3) from Rosario, Argentina.  Mejias weighed in at 199 pounds and 5 ounces, while Constante weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gig Claro, and the three ringside judges are Fresco Coro, Rodrigo Belen and Jesus Blasco.  

Round 1: 

Mejias connects with a cross.  
Mejias advances into close range and is on target with a right hook to Constante's ribcage.  Mejias throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Mejias's body.  
Mejias gets on the inside.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mejias dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Mejias manouvers Constante into the corner.  Mejias lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  Mejias holds on to his opponent.  Mejias pushes his forearm into Constante's face.  The referee warns Mejias and breaks the clinch.

Mejias gets on the inside.  Mejias sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mejias gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.  Mejias holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Constante leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Mejias accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Constante.  
Mejias digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Mejias drives a right hook into Constante's ribcage.  
Mejias closes the distance.  Constante throws a left uppercut, but Mejias ties up his opponent.  Mejias tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Constante behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Mejias about fouling.
