Nicandro Caragay vs Bryan Bacad

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Batangas promoted show at Joaquin Berlanga Gym, Batangas City,  taking place on 13/03/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nicandro Caragay (15(11) - 0) who hails from Manila, Philippines and Bryan Bacad(0 - 1 - 1) from Quezon City, Philippines.  Both Caragay and Bacad weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jose Macatunao, and the three ringside judges are Manny Orayani, Rafael Gacungan and Santiago Lumala.  

Round 1: 

Caragay lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Caragay lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  As Caragay tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bacad dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Caragay walks Bacad onto the ropes.  Caragay pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a sharp right uppercut.  
Caragay gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Caragay sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Caragay lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Caragay holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Caragay pushes his forearm into Bacad's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Caragay about fouling.  
Bacad throws a left uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.
