Boris Panasuk vs Faddei Balaban

Boxing Daily Report from the Ngoma Promotions promoted show at Gomel Chagin, Gomel,  taking place on 17/03/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Belarus-East Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Boris Panasuk (9(1) - 1) who hails from Mogilev, Belarus and Faddei Balaban(11 - 17(2) - 3) from Vitebsk, Belarus.  Both Panasuk and Balaban weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vikenti Prudnikov, and the three ringside judges are Evgeny Gaikov, Igor Yurkovich and Faddei Buda.  

Round 1: 

Panasuk is looking to close the distance.  Balaban sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Panasuk lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.
