Kenzie Calpin vs Paul Stute

Boxing Daily Report from the 5th Dimension Promotions promoted show at Norwich Platt, Norwich,  taking place on 20/03/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Central England Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kenzie Calpin (15(5) - 1) who hails from Manchester, UK and Paul Stute(11 - 11 - 3) from Nottingham, UK.  Both Calpin and Stute weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Owen Saunders, and the three ringside judges are Leo Hendron, Henry Florian and Noel Moris.  

Round 1: 

Calpin is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Calpin tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Calpin tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Calpin lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Stute is looking to close the distance and walks Calpin onto the ropes.  Stute pivots from in front of his opponent andThe two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Stute dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Stute steps inside.  Calpin pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Calpin is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Stute is looking to close the distance.  Stute quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Calpin connects with a sharp right hook.  Calpin clinches his opponent.  Calpin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Calpin to stop fouling.  
Calpin switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Stute steps inside.  Calpin lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Calpin leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Stute throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Calpin steps to the outside and lands a jab.  
Calpin tries to step out of his opponents range and drives a hard jab into his opponents face.  
Calpin hits home with a hard jab.  
Stute quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Stute throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Calpin steps to the outside and lands an overhand right, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Calpin is on target with a jab.  
Calpin lands a hard jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Stute's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Stute's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Calpin connects with a weighty cross.  STUTE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Stute almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Stute closes the distance and throws a right hook, but Calpin clinches his opponent.  Calpin uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Stute's kidney. Calpin leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Calpin tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Stute's kidney. 
Calpin switches the action to the outside and strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Calpin lands a stinging jab.  
Calpin lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Stute closes the distance.  Calpin drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  Calpin ties up his opponent.  Calpin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Stute pivots to the side of his opponent.  Calpin is on target with a solid right hook.

Calpin lands an overhand left followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Some sustained pressure from Calpin could be enough to finish Stute!  Calpin SLAMS a HUGE right uppercut into his opponents face.  STUTE IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  It looks like Stute has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Calpin lands a straight 1 - 2.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
The right shot from Calpin could be enough to force the stoppage!  Calpin lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS STUTE DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  
Calpin switches the action to the outside.  Calpin lands a DESTRUCTIVE left uppercut.  STUTE IS DOWN!  THE REF DOES NOT GIVE STUTE THE CHANCE TO BEAT THE COUNT...HE'S STOPPING THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Calpin!
