Dale Trimble vs Jordan MacGinnis

Boxing Daily Report from the Joe Mama promoted show at Olympic Park Sports Hall, Sydney,  taking place on 24/03/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dale Trimble (19(18) - 2(2)) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Jordan MacGinnis(2 - 2 - 2) from Melbourne, Australia.  Trimble weighed in at 174 pounds and 11 ounces, while MacGinnis weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gareth Boswell, and the three ringside judges are Amon Pallas, Dai Lawless and Rob Byrne.  

Round 1: 

Trimble lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Trimble is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a stinging overhand right.  
Trimble quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He then lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Trimble sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
MacGinnis gets on the inside.  Trimble lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Trimble ties up his opponent.  Trimble is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Trimble steps away from his opponent and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Trimble lands a cross, jab and an overhand right to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  MacGinnis almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Trimble lands a jab to the body, a jab to the head and a cross to the head.  
MacGinnis closes the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Trimble lands a left hook to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  
Trimble switches the action to the outside.  Trimble is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  MacGinnis connects with an overhand left.  
Trimble connects with a stinging overhand right.  
Trimble quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  MacGinnis quickly recovers. 
Trimble throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Trimble connects with a firm cross.  
MacGinnis gets on the inside.  Trimble lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Trimble clinches his opponent.  Trimble is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Trimble to stop fouling.  Trimble tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Trimble lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Trimble is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  Trimble attempts to land a cross, but MacGinnis sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
MacGinnis manouvers Trimble onto the ropes.  Trimble lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Trimble steps away from his opponent and is on target with a jab.  Trimble attempts to land a jab, but MacGinnis sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Trimble connects with a solid cross.  
Trimble steps away from his opponent and lands a stinging overhand right.  
Trimble lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Trimble feints a cross, fooling MacGinnis into throwing a left uppercut counter.  Trimble springs the trap, countering with  a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Trimble steps to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He then lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  MacGinnis almost instantly gets his legs back. 
MacGinnis is on target with a jab.  
MacGinnis advances into close range.  Trimble lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  Trimble ties up his opponent.  Trimble throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks Trimble's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Trimble steps to the outside and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...MacGinnis's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.
