Brett Riddick vs Shamus Myres

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Robina Stadium, Gold Coast,  taking place on 11/04/2037:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Commonwealth Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Brett Riddick (35(18) - 7(4) - 1) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Shamus Myres(44(36) - 4(4) - 1) from Belfast, UK.  Riddick weighed in at 234 pounds And 8 ounces, while Myres weighed in at 244 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ewan Duffy, and the three ringside judges are Mark Elgin, Barry Forbes and Bruce Kay.
