Kieran Cowper vs Francisco Villanova

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Estadio Sud, Rosario,  taking place on 03/04/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kieran Cowper (6(4) - 1(1)) who hails from Linden, Guyana and Francisco Villanova(18 - 10 - 5) from La Plata, Argentina.  Both Cowper and Villanova weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Urquidez, and the three ringside judges are Sierra Villas, Desiderio Cruz and Cortez Pio.  

Round 1: 

Cowper feints a jab, tricking Villanova into throwing a right uppercut counter.  Cowper avoids the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.

Cowper hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Villanova gets on the inside.  Cowper lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Cowper sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Cowper tries to land a cross, but Villanova blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Cowper is on target with a stinging cross.  
Cowper EXPLODES a FIERCE overhand right into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE VILLANOVA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Villanova quickly recovers. 
Villanova gets on the inside.  Cowper lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Cowper tries to keep the action at long range.  Cowper thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Villanova away.  Cowper slams a spiteful left uppercut into Villanova's ribs.  VILLANOVA IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Villanova has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Villanova's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Villanova's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Villanova's trainer is passing on some tactical advice. Villanova gets on the inside.  Cowper pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a firm left hook into Villanova's body.  
Cowper drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Villanova throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right hook.

Villanova steps inside and attempts to land a right hook, but Cowper parries the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.
