Hamakona Otimi vs Kenzie Pert

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Vector Arena, Auckland,  taking place on 25/04/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Oceania Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hamakona Otimi (12(5) - 5(1)) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Kenzie Pert(8 - 2(1)) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Otimi and Pert weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Vaux, and the three ringside judges are Corey Hopper, Mason Bellis and Colin Lawder.  

Round 1: 

Otimi closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
