Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kiambu promoted show at Kikuyu Rashed, Kikuyu,  taking place on 30/03/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya-Kiambu Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cody Adoyo (15 - 15(1) - 5) who hails from Kikuyu, Kenya and Peter Sitati(7 - 7 - 3) from Kikuyu, Kenya.  Adoyo weighed in at 154 pounds, while Sitati weighed in at 153 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sam Ngugi, and the three ringside judges are Amon Lai, Amon Lai and Amon Itote.  

Round 1: 

As Adoyo tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Sitati has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused a slight cut above the right eye.  .  
Adoyo is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook.  
Adoyo connects with a right uppercut.

Adoyo closes the distance.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sitati dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Sitati.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
