John Bett vs Jay Kimmins

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Irwin Mitchell Oval Hall,City Hall, Sheffield,  taking place on 25/04/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Bett (8(1) - 0) who hails from Blackpool, UK and Jay Kimmins(15 - 11 - 5) from London, UK.  Bett weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces, while Kimmins weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Roger Tinkler, and the three ringside judges are Robert Bevans, John McBride and Wayne Atcheson.  

Round 1: 

Bett closes the distance and is on target with a left hook.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Bett has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
