Evgeny Bryzgalov vs Kir Taras

Boxing Daily Report from the Chelelwa Promotions promoted show at Kemerovo Krasnoff, Kemerovo,  taking place on 03/04/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Russia-Kemerovo Oblast Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Evgeny Bryzgalov (32(9) - 4 - 2) who hails from Kemerovo, Russia and Kir Taras(2 - 4(1) - 1) from Novokuznetsk, Russia.  Bryzgalov weighed in at 125 pounds and 12 ounces, while Taras weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fedar Samarin, and the three ringside judges are Yulian Mekhontsev, Valeri Emelianenko and Valeri Emelianenko.  

Round 1: 

Bryzgalov steps away from his opponent and hits the target with a stinging jab.

Bryzgalov waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Taras tries to land a jab, but Bryzgalov sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Bryzgalov pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Bryzgalov is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Taras advances into close range.  Bryzgalov lands two left hooks followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Taras is looking to close the distance.  Bryzgalov lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Bryzgalov ties up his opponent.  Bryzgalov uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Taras behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Bryzgalov tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Taras manouvers Bryzgalov onto the ropes.  Bryzgalov hits home with a ramrod jab.  Bryzgalov throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Taras's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Taras is looking to close the distance.  Taras pivots to the side of his opponent.  Taras throws a left hook, but Bryzgalov holds on to his opponent.  Bryzgalov uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Taras's kidney. 
Bryzgalov steps away from his opponent and lands a cross.  
Bryzgalov hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Taras's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Taras's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Taras's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Taras walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Bryzgalov crashes a mean right hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE TARAS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Bryzgalov stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Bryzgalov lands a cross followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body, AND TARAS IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Bryzgalov tries to step out of his opponents range.  Bryzgalov lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  Taras now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Bryzgalov lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Taras gets on the inside.  Bryzgalov lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Bryzgalov holds on to his opponent.  Taras is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Taras gets on the inside.  Bryzgalov pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a solid left hook.  
Bryzgalov feints a right hook, and then lands a straight 1 - 2.

Bryzgalov springs the trap and counters with  a mean right hook to Taras's ribs.  TARAS IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Bryzgalov!
