Hamish Baird vs Chris Nash

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Mississippi promoted show at Joseph Cirino Gym, Jackson,  taking place on 06/04/2037:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mississippi Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hamish Baird (7 - 21(2) - 4) who hails from Jackson, USA and Chris Nash(27(14) - 8(1)) from Jackson, USA.  Baird weighed in at 146 pounds and 11 ounces, while Nash weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Billy Ainsley, and the three ringside judges are Richard Cargill, David Cloy and David Cloy.  

Round 1: 

Nash lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Nash lands a firm left hook.  
Baird is looking to keep his distance.  Nash lands with a stiff jab.  
Nash closes the distance and drives a sharp left hook into Baird's ribs.  
Nash steps inside and digs in a solid left uppercut to his opponents body.

Baird steps away from his opponent.  Nash quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

Baird goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Nash time to recover.  
Nash advances into close range and drives a sharp left hook into his opponents liver.

Nash sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.

Nash steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Baird recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Nash drives a firm left hook into his opponents body.  
Nash is on target with a cross.  
Nash pivots to the left of his opponent.  Baird lands a jab.

Nash gets on the inside.  Baird pivots to the right of his opponent.  Nash lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Baird is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Nash senses Baird is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Nash lands a cross to the head followed by two left uppercut's to the body, AND KNOCKS BAIRD DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Nash digs in a weighty left uppercut to Baird's body.  BAIRD IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  
Nash advances into close range and digs in a potent left hook to Baird's liver.  It looks like Baird has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Baird switches the action to the outside.  Nash is on target with a cross.  
Nash lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Nash stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Nash lands a right uppercut followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND BAIRD IS DOWN!  The ref does not give Baird the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Nash!
