Ryo Eto vs Mikio Okawa

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 11/04/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ryo Eto (31(1) - 11(6) - 1(NC)) who hails from Kyoto, Japan and Mikio Okawa(9(2) - 4(2)) from Kyoto, Japan.  Both Eto and Okawa weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jiro Fukumoto, and the three ringside judges are Nori Tamanaha, Kazuhiko Nakano and Dai Fujita.  

Round 1: 

Eto advances into close range.  Okawa throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Okawa switches the action to the outside and lands a solid jab.
