Farhan Nahdi vs Yasin Petros

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Saudi Arabia-West promoted show at Jeddah Mahmood, Jeddah,  taking place on 16/04/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Saudi Arabia Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Saudi TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Farhan Nahdi (9 - 10(1) - 2) who hails from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Yasin Petros(21(18) - 3(2)) from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.  Both Nahdi and Petros weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Syed Jawahir, and the three ringside judges are Ibrahim Abouchabki, Asif Betro and Khalid Kazmi.  

Round 1: 

Nahdi advances into close range.  Petros is on target with a solid left hook to Nahdi's body.  
Petros connects with a solid left hook.  Petros ties up his opponent.  Petros pushes his forearm into Nahdi's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Petros lands a cross.  
Petros gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Petros ties up his opponent.  Petros is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Petros tries to land a left hook, but Nahdi sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.

Nahdi is looking to close the distance.  Petros lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Petros lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Petros steps inside and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Petros digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Petros closes the distance.  Petros pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Petros is on target with a jab.  
Petros quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab to the head, a cross to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Nahdi advances into close range and manouvers Petros onto the ropes.  Petros lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Petros is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Petros lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Petros gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Petros drives a firm left hook into Nahdi's body.  
Petros advances into close range.  Petros pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Petros finds the target with a jab.  
Petros closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Petros lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Nahdi throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Petros gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Petros lands a right hook to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  
Petros lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Nahdi's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Nahdi's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Nahdi's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Petros lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Petros walks his opponent into the corner.  Petros thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Nahdi away.  Petros SLAMS a mean cross into his opponents face.  DOWN GOES NAHDI!  He manages to get up at 5.  It looks like Nahdi has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Petros pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body, AND SENDS NAHDI TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Nahdi recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Petros lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Some sustained pressure from Petros could be enough to finish Nahdi!  Petros whips in a nasty right hook to Nahdi's ribs.  DOWN GOES NAHDI!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  It looks like Nahdi has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Petros lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND NAHDI IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Petros sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Petros lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body, AND DROPS NAHDI TO THE CANVAS!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Nahdi can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Petros!
