Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Churchill Downs, Louisville,  taking place on 23/05/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on HBO, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Fritzie Gierhart (43(38) - 0) who hails from Dusseldorf, Germany and Napoleon Assiful(22(13) - 3(2)) from Katlehong, South Africa.  Both Gierhart and Assiful weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hugh Days, and the three ringside judges are Dave Southerland, Matthew Hatt and Michael Harkins.

Gierhart tries to step out of his opponents range.  Gierhart knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Gierhart lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS ASSIFUL DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  Assiful now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

Gierhart steps to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Assiful recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Assiful is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Gierhart attempts to land a left hook, but Assiful blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Assiful tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Gierhart is looking to close the distance.  Assiful throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Gierhart lands two straights to the body, and one to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Assiful almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Assiful is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Assiful gets on the inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Assiful sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Gierhart lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Gierhart EXPLODES a HUGE cross into his opponents face.  ASSIFUL IS HURT!  Gierhart tries to land a cross, but Assiful slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  Assiful almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Gierhart connects with a hurtful left hook.  ASSIFUL IS HURT!  
Gierhart senses Assiful is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Gierhart lands two straights followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS ASSIFUL TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Gierhart is on target with a mean left hook.  ASSIFUL HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Gierhart!
