David Swanson vs Andy Saunders

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Empire City Casino, Yonkers,  taking place on 08/05/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are David Swanson (1 - 0) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Andy Saunders(2 - 0 - 1) from Houston, USA.  Both Swanson and Saunders weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Steven McLain, and the three ringside judges are Seth Owens, Billy Byrnes and John Purcell.  

Round 1: 

Swanson walks Saunders down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Swanson lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Swanson holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Swanson pushes his forearm into Saunders's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Swanson closes the distance and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Swanson digs in a firm right uppercut to his opponents body.

Saunders steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Swanson accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Saunders.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Saunders.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
