Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Karnataka promoted show at Kiran Vohra Gym, Bangalore,  taking place on 22/04/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India-Karnataka Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kailash Balmiki (6 - 18 - 1) who hails from Bangalore, India and Ananth Nigam(8 - 6 - 2) from Bangalore, India.  Both Balmiki and Nigam weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Deepak Naik, and the three ringside judges are Sajid Niazi, Amit Pahalajani and Girish Bajwa.

Nigam closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Nigam advances into close range.  Balmiki sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Nigam throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Balmiki time to recover.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Nigam's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Nigam's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Nigam has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Nigam sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  As Nigam tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Balmiki dabs at his face checking for damage.
