Nicandro Zara vs Asif Asmar

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Amoranto Sports Complex, Quezon City,  taking place on 15/05/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Asian Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Nicandro Zara (27(25) - 2) who hails from Cebu City, Philippines and Asif Asmar(29(17) - 9(9)) from Johor Bahru, Malaysia.  Both Zara and Asmar weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Olindo Manrique, and the three ringside judges are Joel Tierno, Floyd Sanches and Sam Malabuyo.  

Round 1: 

Asmar pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a solid jab to his opponents body.
