Jack Bason vs Montenegro Mathias

Boxing Daily Report from the Pearlnew Promotions promoted show at University de Puerto Rico en Bayamon, Bayamon,  taking place on 22/05/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Puerto Rico Sports Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jack Bason (22(15) - 2 - 1) who hails from Henderson, USA and Montenegro Mathias(26(2) - 14(9) - 5) from Ponce, Puerto Rico.  Both Bason and Mathias weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jair Sebastian, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Capo, Loredo Olavarria and Santiago Ahumada.  

Round 1: 

Mathias steps inside.  Mathias pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Mathias is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.

Bason lands a jab to the head, a cross to the head and a cross to the body.
