David Howitt vs Floyd Ryan

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Aviator Field House, New York City,  taking place on 23/05/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mid Atlantic Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Howitt (13(7) - 0) who hails from Hartford, USA and Floyd Ryan(22 - 14(3) - 1) from Paterson, USA.  Howitt weighed in at 121 pounds And 6 ounces, while Ryan weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Santistevan, and the three ringside judges are Brett Kenefick, Gus Esplin and Dom Guffey.  

Round 1:

Howitt throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Howitt gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Howitt is looking to close the distance and is on target with a sharp right hook to Ryan's body.  
Ryan is looking to keep his distance.  Howitt feints a right, and then is on target with a sharp cross.  
Ryan hits home with a cross.  
Howitt closes the distance and is on target with a CRUSHING left hook.  RYAN IS HURT!  
Howitt knows Ryan is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Howitt lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS RYAN SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Ryan now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

Howitt pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS RYAN DOWN!  The count reaches 10, but Ryan is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Howitt!
