Boxing Daily Report from the No Limit promoted show at Canberra Matherson, Canberra,  taking place on 10/04/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Joel McWhinney (1 - 0) who hails from Canberra, Australia and Aaron McKenna(2 - 0) from Canberra, Australia.  McWhinney weighed in at 168 pounds, while McKenna weighed in at 167 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Noah Pierce, and the three ringside judges are John Hakopyan, Danny McCornack and Neil Cookston.  

Round 1: 

McWhinney steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a jab, but McKenna blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

McKenna advances into close range and is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  McKenna holds on to his opponent.  McKenna leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks McKenna's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
McWhinney switches the action to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
McWhinney connects with a cross.  
McKenna lands a left hook.  McKenna clinches his opponent.  McKenna leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
McKenna sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.

McKenna lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
McKenna steps inside.  McKenna sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a firm right uppercut into McWhinney's body.  
McKenna hits home with a sharp right hook.

That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
