John Glaspy vs Ian Clucas

Boxing Daily Report from the No Limit promoted show at Wollongong Whittum, Wollongong,  taking place on 11/04/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are John Glaspy (1 - 0) who hails from Geelong, Australia and Ian Clucas(2 - 14 - 2) from Geelong, Australia.  Glaspy weighed in at 115 pounds, while Clucas weighed in at 114 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bart Aday, and the three ringside judges are Chris Sneden, James Finocchiaro and Isaac Ewart.  

Round 1: 

Clucas forces Glaspy to back into the red corner.  Clucas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.

Clucas pivots to the side of his opponent.  Glaspy throws a left uppercut, but Clucas ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Clucas pushes his forearm into Glaspy's face.  The ref breaks Clucas's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Clucas advances into close range and forces Glaspy to back into the ropes.  Clucas sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Glaspy lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Clucas clinches his opponent.  Glaspy tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Clucas behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Clucas advances into close range.  Clucas sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Glaspy throws a right hook, but Clucas clinches his opponent.  Clucas is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Clucas to stop fouling.  
Glaspy pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Glaspy's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Glaspy's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
