Leon Calder vs Jack Lawther

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Alaska promoted show at Anchorage Fullerton, Anchorage,  taking place on 03/05/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Alaska Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leon Calder (9 - 10(1) - 2) who hails from Anchorage, USA and Jack Lawther(5 - 24(1) - 4) from Anchorage, USA.  Both Calder and Lawther weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Felix Campbell, and the three ringside judges are David Edmiston, Harvey Blair and Felix Campbell.  

Round 1: 

Calder hits home with a right hook.  
Lawther forces Calder to back into a neutral corner.  Calder hits home with a left hook.  
Lawther gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Lawther sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Lawther sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Calder throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Lawther time to recover.  
Lawther walks Calder down, trapping him in a corner.  Lawther sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Calder switches the action to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Calder hits home with a left hook.  Calder throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Calder's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Lawther's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.
